SEDGEFIELD RACECOURSE LADIES' DAY - 23rd AUGUST 2011
Ladies Day at Sedgefield Races last week became the meeting place for the region's most classically dressed women and some of the best of the region's most classic cars. Every year the event attracts glamorously dressed ladies to what has become a highlight of the Sedgefield racing calendar. Simon Robinson (centre) of Simon J Robinson Classic Cars, Darlington sponsored the £500 first prize awarded to the event's best dressed lady, which was won by 46 year old IT consultant Debbie Grogan (pictured left). Runner up was Julie Moore (right). Simon commented "The romance and beauty of fine classic cars are a fitting backdrop to the glamour provided by all ladies who turned out in their finest dresses. It was a great day, especially with so many of the region's most fashion conscious ladies and the finest classic cars in attendance".
